SmarterMail - Folder Auto-Scan
The folder auto-clean feature in SmarterMail is designed to help system administrators keeping mailbox size(s) under control. Using folder auto-clean, common folders like the Junk E-mail, Sent Items and Deleted items can be regularly purged of old messages so they do not clutter user mailboxes.
Follow these steps to configure the folder auto-clean feature at the system level:
Step 1 - Log in to Smarter Mail as the system administrator.
Step 2 - Click settings icon button.
Step 3 - Click on Folder Auto-Clean in the left hand column (The shield icon).
Step 4 - In the options tab allow both option and if you want to create a new rules then click on new rule.
Step 5 - Click on Save.
